WORLD WATER DAY @ GT -- FRIDAY MARCH 30th (10am - 2pm)

International World Water Day is held annually on March 22nd as a means of focusing attention on the World Water Day, 2011importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources.

Since this date fell over Georgia Tech's spring break, Engineers Without Borders-GT has planned an event on campus this Friday to celebrate and raise awareness about water issues. The event will be based around the UN's 2012 theme of "Water and Food Security".

Stop by throughout the day to learn about water issues, participate in physical challenges, create hula hoop-sized bubbles, and receive lots of food and prizes!  Engineers Without Borders-GT looks forward to seeing you there.
