The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering’s Frank Southworth gave two invited lectures in May at Tianjin University, China’s oldest university. One of the lectures, above, focused on the estimation of carbon footprints.
Along with Marilyn Brown in Georgia Tech’s School of Public Policy, Southworth is collaborating with faculty in Tianjin’s College of Management and Economics in the search for sustainable, low-carbon options for urban transportation.
