Dr. Eric Marks is a Professor of Practice in the Construction and Infrastructure Systems group in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering and a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Kentucky. He teaches courses in Construction and Civil Engineering at both the graduate and undergraduate levels in which he implements diverse presentation strategies, including real-life applications of discussed theories and interactive student scenarios in simulated design projects. During his time as a practicing engineer, Dr. Marks managed capital-intensive transportation infrastructure construction projects for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. He most recently was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering at the University of Alabama.
