Dr. Wenlong Zhang is the Assistant Professor at Georgia Tech Shenzhen Institute, Tianjin University. He received his B.S. in Chemistry, M.S. and PhD in Environmental Engineering, all from Georgia Institute of Technology during 2008-2019. He worked one year as a visiting assistant professor of chemistry at Oglethorpe University (2020) and eight months as a post-doc back at Georgia Tech (2021). His PhD research focused on the treatment of coal combustion by-products through solidification/stabilization. His current research focuses on resource recovery from wastewater and related functional materials.
